A two-tap goodbye

Delete your account.

Two ways to do it, depending on whether the app is still on your phone. Both end the same way: your profile, your media, and any Moments only you were in are gone.

From inside the app.

The fastest way. If Little Moments is still installed on your phone, the whole flow takes about ten seconds.

  1. Open Little Moments.

    Sign in with the account you want to delete, if you are not already signed in.

  2. Go to Settings.

    Tap your profile photo in the top-right of the home screen, then choose Settings.

  3. Tap Delete account.

    Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Delete account. It sits on its own at the foot of the list so you cannot hit it by accident.

  4. Confirm.

    We will ask you once more, just to make sure. Tap Delete on the confirmation sheet and you are out. You will be signed out and returned to the welcome screen.

By email.

Already deleted the app? No problem. Email us from the address you used to sign in and we will handle it for you. Sending from the account email is how we verify it is really you.

Write to

Send it from the email address on the account. Tell us you want your account deleted. That is all we need.

We will reply to confirm once it is done, usually within a couple of business days. If we cannot match your email to an account we will let you know, so you can double-check the address.

What gets removed.

Either path triggers the same deletion. For clarity:

Deleted immediately

  • Your profile. Display name, profile picture, account record.
  • Your media. Every photo and video you uploaded, across every Moment.
  • Moments only you were in. Anything you hosted with no other members is removed entirely.
  • Push tokens and sessions. You will be signed out everywhere.

Cleared on a rolling schedule

  • Encrypted backups. Residual copies in our backup rotation are overwritten within 30 days.
  • Diagnostic logs. Rotated out within 90 days.

Kept for legal reasons

  • Purchase records. Apple In-App Purchase receipts are kept for the period required by tax and consumer-protection law (typically up to 7 years). They do not contain your media.

Media that other people uploaded to a Moment you joined stays with them, the same way a photo someone else took of you stays with them. If you would like a specific shot taken down, ask the host, or write to us.

Common questions.

Can I just leave a Moment instead of deleting my account?

Yes. Inside any Moment, open its settings and choose Leave Moment. That removes your access but keeps your account and your other Moments intact.

What happens to Moments I hosted with other people in them?

Those Moments stay alive for the people who joined. Your media inside them is removed; their media is untouched. If you were the only host, hosting passes to the next person who joined.

Can I undo a deletion?

No. Once the deletion completes, the media is gone from active storage and we cannot bring it back. If you are not sure, leave specific Moments first and come back to deletion later.

How long does the email route take?

Usually a couple of business days. If you have not heard back within five, reply to your original email and we will chase it.

What if I do not have access to my account email anymore?

Email us anyway, from any address, and we will work with you to confirm the account is yours before we delete it. We may ask for the approximate sign-up date, the name on the account, and the titles of one or two Moments you were in.
