little mments
The rules, in plain English

Terms of service.

Effective 25 May 2026 Last updated 25 May 2026 Version 1.0

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Little Moments ("Little Moments", "we", "us") for use of the Little Moments mobile app, the yourlittlemoments.com website, and anything connected to them (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

01A quick summary

If you only read one section

Your photos and videos belong to you. Uploading them gives us only what we need to store and show them to the people in the same Moment. Nothing more.

Be a decent guest. Do not upload illegal content, do not invite people to a Moment without their consent, and do not use the Service to harass anyone.

One roll, no take-backs. Photos in a Moment stay hidden until reveal. Once revealed, everyone in the Moment can see them.

You can leave any time. Delete a Moment, leave a Moment, or delete your account from inside the app, or by emailing us.

The rest of this document is the detail.

02Who can use Little Moments

You must be at least 13 years old to use Little Moments. If your region requires a higher minimum age for using online services without parental consent, you must meet that age. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" in these Terms refers to both you and that organisation.

03Your account

You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for the account you use, for keeping its credentials secure, and for activity that happens through it. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us at hello@yourlittlemoments.com.

You agree to provide accurate information when prompted (for example, your display name) and to keep it reasonably up to date. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

04How the Service works

Little Moments is a shared camera for people in the same room. The basic flow:

  • A host creates a Moment, picks how many shots per camera, and chooses when it ends.
  • The host invites guests with a link or QR code. Guests open the Moment and start shooting from their own phones.
  • While the Moment is live, photos are hidden. When the Moment ends, the film "develops" and everyone in the Moment can see the whole roll.
  • After reveal, members can save the roll to their own device.

We may improve, change, add, or remove features at any time. If a change materially reduces the Service, we will give reasonable advance notice in-app, where practical.

05Your content

"Your content" means the photos, videos, captions, display name, profile picture, and anything else you upload to or create on the Service.

5.1 You keep your rights

You own your content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any of it to us.

5.2 The licence you grant us

To make the Service work, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and transmit your content for the limited purpose of operating the Service, for example storing your media on our infrastructure and delivering it to the other members of the Moment you uploaded it to. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for residual copies in encrypted backups that are overwritten on our standard rotation.

We do not use your content for advertising, profiling, or training, fine-tuning, or evaluating machine learning models.

5.3 Sharing inside a Moment

When you upload content to a Moment, every other member of that Moment can see it after reveal. They can also save it to their own device. Treat a Moment as a shared photo album: once it is in there, it is shared with everyone in the room.

5.4 You are responsible for your content

You are responsible for the content you upload. You confirm that you have the rights you need to upload it, and that your content does not break these Terms or applicable law.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to do any of the following, and not to help anyone else do them:

  • Break any applicable law or regulation.
  • Upload, share, or distribute content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you do not have the right to share.
  • Upload content that sexualises or exploits children. There is zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material. We report it to the relevant authorities and disable involved accounts immediately.
  • Harass, threaten, dox, stalk, or otherwise harm another person.
  • Upload content that contains hate speech or incites violence against people based on protected characteristics.
  • Upload malware, spam, or anything designed to interfere with the Service or any user's device.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications or invitations.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, copy, or otherwise access the Service in ways we have not authorised, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
  • Interfere with, probe, or test the security of the Service or any user account that is not yours.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, headless clients) on the Service without our express permission.
  • Sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or another user's content.

If you see something on the Service that breaks these rules, email us at hello@yourlittlemoments.com.

07Hosting a Moment

If you create a Moment, you are its host. As host, you:

  • Decide who is invited and when the Moment ends.
  • Are responsible for getting consent from the people you invite, including consent to be photographed if that is the kind of Moment it is. We do not police consent inside a Moment; that is on you and your guests.
  • Can delete the Moment at any time. Deletion removes all media in the Moment from active storage.
  • Are responsible for following any laws that apply to the event, including in places where filming or photography is restricted.

Joining a Moment as a guest means you accept that the host and the other guests can see the media you upload after reveal.

08Purchases

Some features of the Service are paid. Purchases on iOS are processed by Apple through the App Store using In-App Purchase. The amount, currency, and tax are shown at the point of purchase.

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple under its standard refund process. We do not process payments or refunds directly. If you believe a purchase was charged in error, request a refund through Apple. If the underlying issue is with the Service rather than the charge, email us at hello@yourlittlemoments.com and we will help.

Subscriptions, where offered, renew automatically on the schedule shown at purchase, unless cancelled before the renewal date in your device's subscription settings.

09Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. You can delete a Moment, leave a Moment, or delete your account from inside the app, or by emailing us at hello@yourlittlemoments.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if:

  • you break these Terms;
  • your use of the Service creates a real risk of legal exposure for us, for our users, or for the public;
  • we are required to by law or a binding legal order;
  • continued operation is no longer reasonably feasible.

If we terminate your account for serious breach (for example, uploading illegal content), we may delete your content immediately. If we terminate for any other reason, you will have a reasonable opportunity to export your content, where practical.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (for example, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity) will survive.

10Service availability

We aim to keep the Service running smoothly, but we do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any specific purpose. The Service depends on third-party infrastructure (such as your device, your network, the App Store, and our cloud providers), and outages on any of those can affect it.

We may perform maintenance, change features, or take parts of the Service offline temporarily. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice in-app.

11Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, brand, logos, name, and any related materials we publish, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of our intellectual property to you.

If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without obligation to you.

12Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Service will meet your requirements;
  • the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free;
  • content stored on the Service will never be lost or corrupted;
  • any errors in the Service will be corrected.

Some places do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither we nor anyone working with us is liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of data, or loss of business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, whether based on contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) twenty US dollars (USD 20).

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for fraud, for gross negligence, or for personal injury caused by negligence.

14Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party arising out of:

  • your use of the Service;
  • content you uploaded, shared, or otherwise made available;
  • your breach of these Terms or any applicable law.

We will tell you about any claim and give you a reasonable opportunity to participate in the defence, at your expense.

15Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will give you reasonable advance notice in-app, by email, or both, before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the Service and delete your account.
